Hello Everyone,

This is my testimony about how I received my husband.
From August 2020 to January 2022, I decided to get out of the way. I desired my husband, and my way wasn’t working anymore. I told the Lord I don’t trust my judgment, but I believe if they are from You, then they are for me.
So, in late 2021, my manager told me to try out the dating application Hinge, as it had many quality catches. I was eager because I have been on just about every dating app at one time or another, and I hadn’t had the best of luck, so why not? A couple of weeks into Hinge, I’m talking to this southern gentleman who seems sweet and isn’t my usual type, but God can do it, so I’m open. And after a couple of days, asks me for my number.

Meanwhile, like a day before, this other guy reached out to me, and he looked familiar. It turns out I remembered him from another dating site, but we never matched. I remember thinking we would be a good match, but nothing came of it. We do some light chatting in the app, and my focus is still on the southern gentleman.

How about the southern gentleman doesn’t call me, text, or even respond on the app!!! DID HE DIE?!!! (I hope not). I was so distraught because he was the only guy I made a connection with. I then deleted the app, it didn’t seem worth it.

Don’t judge me, y’all, but I looked everywhere on the internet for that man. I found old stuff but nothing recent; it was like he vanished. For one second, I even thought maybe he didn’t get my number because I deleted my account. Let me go back and see. I went back, and nothing. I couldn’t find him, but you know who sees me? The guy from the other dating app.

So he reached out and asks for my number and we talk. It’s nice, we talk for like two weeks straight but in between it has some lulls. He asked me on a date, which was exciting but as we got closer to the date, the conversation wasn’t as lively. In between time, I cruised the app but continued to get to know this familiar-looking man. We had a date set for Jan 30th at a place that has bowling, arcade games, and such.
On that Friday the 28th during some time in prayer, the Lord said to me «You’re husband will ask you to the movies on Sunday.»

I was like, WHHHHHAT?!!!! Like who God, because at this point I was not sure if I was going to cancel my date with this familiar-looking man since the initial chemistry was dwindling. And there was talk with another suitor who wanted to take me out that same weekend. Funny enough the other suitor never confirmed plans and since I didn’t have plans I just went on the date.

The date was awkward guys lol, I mean so dry. I didn’t understand why, we bowled and played games but it was not giving romantic or the chemistry I was looking for. I later found out he saw that I was still on the dating app and he didn’t like that too much,(oops).
So after many activities, I was ready to leave this weird experience in the past and call it a night, when he asked if I wanted to grab a bite to eat at the place. I thought to myself, this man is still trying to pay for stuff?! lol Well, I was hungry, so the lady there told us it was going to be a 30-minute wait. We decided we both didn’t want to wait, so I mentioned several restaurants in the area. I even specifically mentioned a wing spot 3 times, when he then asked «Is there a movie theater around here, would you like to go to the movies?»

YALLLL, WHAT!!!!!!!!
It was a slow-motion moment for me as I tilted my head slowly to ask, «What did you say?» he repeated, «Is there a movie theater around here? Would you like to go to the movies?»

Guys, we got married on Oct 28th, 2023.
God is truly faithful, and there is more to come!
