Hi! I had this dream about 5 years ago. It’s actually one of the two dreams I had that same night. It’s also the shortest. The other one was very long and I’ll probably share it another time.

      Here’s how it goes:

In the dream, I was lost in a community of houses that looks like a maze. The houses are built so close to each other and the pathways are so narrow only one person could walk at a time. When I was trying to retrace my steps here to get back to the entrance, I suddenly found myself inside the living room of one of the houses. As I looked around the area, a big, white, dog with only three legs appeared. The dog is growling but he looks like he has a defect on his mouth. When I saw the dog, I was frozen in place and couldn’t move even though in reality, I am a dog lover. And even in the dream I was wondering why I couldn’t move because I know that I love dogs and that dogs don’t usually scare me.

Then, a mysterious man appeared and went beside the dog. He touched the dog and said, “Speak so that world will know the glory of the Lord!” The dog barked and at that moment the me in the dream understands that the dog is speaking with actual words, that I was not just hearing his bark and then interpreting his bark in my mind. The dog is actually speaking.

      END

      What could it possibly mean?

      Hello J,

Thank you for sharing this dream. I think it would be a very good idea to share the second dream to ensure the correct interpretation in the event that both dreams are related. Sometimes multiple dreams in the same night build on each other. Sometimes a vision (unrelated to the dreams) might be interwoven among various dreams.
However, as I read your dream what came to mind is narrow is the way that leads to life (Matthew 7:14). I encourage you not to double-guess yourself about this and stay close to the Good, Chief, and Great Shepherd. Is there someone dear to you (you love dogs) that might be a bit unstable (three-legged not four), false teaching (defect in the mouth), and perhaps in beliefs spiritual (white could represent religious in the negative meaning) ? Pray for this individual and the Lord (the man touching the dog) will free them. Perhaps, you are able to “interpret/understand” (bark) this person and you might be the one to lead them on the right path and explain the individual to others. I think this dream is a call for YOU to intercede for this individual. Thank God for giving you the strategy!

Please take this to the Holy Spirit.
      Shalom!
