For years, I have been seeking God to learn my ministry and calling/purpose. Every time I am asked, I have no answer. I have had an idea in the ballpark for years, but nothing concrete that I could practically apply. Well, the end of 2023 put me in a new church where I volunteered to be on the prayer team. I have served in several areas of the church over many years, but never felt like I was using my giftings until I got on the prayer team. Even though it’s been a short time, I am already seeing fruit revealed through my praying with others on the team, as well as, learning how to operate in community within the church for this purpose.

Well, this week on the 2024 fast, this was one of my prayers, and God answered it. Praise God!! I now know my purpose is to confront evil in the spiritual realms in different spiritual authority arenas and my calling to do this is as a watchman. Looking back on my life, it now makes sense why God has called me to a life of righteousness and purity.

This will be my first completed fast. I attempted it before twice but was not able to complete it and I felt God leading me to conquer it this time, with His help. So far, on day 5, I have renewed energy, have peace about my calling and purpose, and am not going through food, carb, or sugar withdrawals. I also feel like my mind has much more clarity concerning things and God has revealed a lot to me every day so far.
