My very old cat is sick and near death. I know I should bring him to veterinarian so he can be put to sleep, but I let him get terribly matted and am embarrassed about it and afraid the vet will think badly of me or charge me with animal cruelty. I know I should only be thinking of him now and I need prayer and help to do that. I really, really love him and tried to get rid of his mats, but he just wouldn’t let me groom him. I regret the way I took care of him. I would like the Lord to heal him and give me a second chance with him, but absent that help me do the right thing or take him to his resting place soon.

Please think about what’s more important right now – what the vet thinks of you OR the life of your poor pet. Please take him to the vet so he can get the help he needs in time so he does not suffer in pain.
