I went through a terrible divorce that I never saw coming 16 years ago. My spouse said he “wanted nothing to do w/my God, religion (I am a Christian) or theology.” He and his entire family of 10 subsequently alienated my two children Sarah and Zane from me and I haven’t seen them in 16 years. They rarely respond to my texts. I have sought Christian counsel, written letters, reached out, shown up at events and nothing has worked. I am believing God for the return of the prodigals and in keeping with Jeremiah 31:16-17 that “RAchel will weep no more and my children will return to their own country.”

Lord of mercy and boundless grace, I pray in agreement with Chris that her children be brought back to you and that their souls be united with Chris. I pray a softening, tenderizing and a grace that will shift their spirit, unclog their ears and grant them divine eyesight. I ask for comfort and consolation for Chris as she waits on the fulfillment of your promises. Grant her understanding, and may her lament and desire for reconciliation be granted. Have mercy and strengthen her faith, resolve and capacity to wait on, look to and hear from you. In Jesus name, amen.

Lord, have mercy on this mother, and her children. I ask that you expose the hand of the enemy and bind him up. I ask that you loose reconciliation, love, and restoration of all that was stolen. Father God, Abba, your word says you will restore the years the locust ate. We are asking that you do this here, for these three. God, I pray for the salvation of this mother’s children, and for you to return them home to her. May you get all the glory when you do. In your Holy name, Jesus. Amen.
