I dreamt that I received a letter. It was written on white paper. And it looked like both sides of the paper had been written on. The letter was in a clear ziploc bag. I did not see who brought it to me but I knew without a doubt that it was from my children’s grandmother, who has not been my mother-in-law for the last 18 years. I took the ziploc bag, turning it on all sides, just looking at this letter and wondering why she would send me something handwritten as she had both my email and telephone number. As I looked at the words, I could hear her voice saying each word I looked at. I then woke up.
Context: I have not spoken to her since late 2019. Her husband and my father had both just been called to rest. She wanted to lean on me and talk about her late husband. When I tried to also lean on her and talk about my father she told me that she was in mourning and could not handle the conversation and that I should talk to her after her mourning period. She wanted to be heard, comforted but could not do the same for me, so I completely disengaged. I was married to her son, we got divorced 18 years ago. She and myself stayed in touch over the years.

Hello Su,
Thank you for sharing your dream. Please take everything I ask/share to the Holy Spirit as He gives the final interpretation.
It appears that she is ready to communicate (letter) and be vulnerable/transparent (clear ziploc bag) with you. It looks like her motives might be pure (white) and she has a lot to say (both sides of the letter) and she wants to be more personal (handwritten letter). The fact that you heard her voice speaking could suggest that she is, indeed earnest and might be lifting the matter up to God in prayer.
The ball is in your courts and remember Joshua 1:9. God may be encouraging you to reach out to her and that she will be receptive.Shalom!
