I am praying for a young adult named John for whom I have prayed for seven years, beginning when he almost died from a football injury. His parents broke his heart ten years ago when they divorced and filled his life with fighting, deceit, undue pressure, adultery, shame and overall fear. He began to cope drink alcohol at 13 to numb the pain. Soon after he became sexually active (way too young). Later he added smoking and drugs to his list of escapes. Just graduating from college this Spring, he will teaching english and coach football for a private high school in the Fall. He continues to use drugs and sleeps with his girlfriend and has a solid habit of pornography. Please pray that God will interupt theses patterns and not allow him to cotinue and endanger the innocence of the youth he will be responsible for as a teacher. Praying for salvation, deliverance and fear of the Lord to overwhelm John so that he can be productive for the Lord. Any prophetic words over him welcome!
