Greetings in the name of our wonderful Christ Jesus.
I was involved in a car accident 5 minutes away from my house in May 2023, I was coming from work. The lady hit my car from behind just when the traffic started moving. It happened so quick, while I was trying to figure things out, she came out of the car saying she fell asleep due to the medication she had taken since she was feeling sick. She then got on call with her insurance broker, who then insisted that her client will not be going to the police station for an accident report, they will do the report online and send me the details to claim for repairs. I then proceeded to take pictures of the scene, we exchanged numbers then I went home. The following day I went to the police station to open to report case and notified my insurance about the accident since the broker was not answering my calls, the lady called me but wanted my case number which means her broker never reported the case. I explained the case to my insurance who advised that I submit a claim on my side, get the car repaired then attempt to recover the excess amount paid for the repairs. The car got repaired, there were a few challenges, but God mad a way, I had to pay the excess amount out of my savings because I had no extra cash to cover it. I honestly felt robbed. I reminded myself that GOD IS A RESTORER AND I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK!!!
Then the recovery process started. Every week I would mail the agent to ask for feedback. The answer I got was they are trying to reach the broker, after a while they did get hold of her. I kept on sending emails asking for feedback, this went on for over 8 months. After the January 2024 fasting, I got a different answer the agent said they had received an offer, but the manager was not happy with it and that they are pushing to get the original settlement. Apart for me wanted to fold and say they must accept it, but I got a conviction that I should let the process play itself out. I was confessing Joel 2:25 throughout this time, declaring that God will restore my money. I kept on following up, every week without giving up. At the early stage I was so upset with the lady, but the Holy Spirit said I must repent for my anger, forgive the lady, and bless her. I did just that, and I focused on confessing restoration. I sent a mail again beginning of March 2024, the agent said the broker asked for the revised paperwork and he is just waiting for the outcome.
Last week 26/03/2024 I did the usual, asked for feedback, I received a mail from the agent advising that he was trying to call me to process a refund HALLELUJAH!!!! Glory to God. I was at work in the office by myself, when I read that response, I was speechless, I immediately went down on my knees right there and thanked God.
God is does miracles, people told me that normally the insurance once you have claimed will not pay back the money even if it’s a third party who caused it. I said to someone, I’m a child of God and I will get my money back….and now Look at God, He did just that. His word is true, by confessing His word, it broke that stubborn situation – Jeremiah 23:29 “Is not My word like fire [that consumes all that cannot endure the test]?” says the LORD, “and like a hammer that breaks the [most stubborn] rock [in pieces]?
I’m so thankful for His Faithfulness.
