      Hi,

In the dream, I’d just left a venue (I can’t remember the nature of the venue). It was night and I got in my car. I was driving along icy, winding, roads that might have been in the countryside (I couldn’t see the road surface because of the ice/light snow but for some reason sensed it wasn’t tarmacked).

There were people, families around so I was trying to drive carefully. Although I did sense that I wasn’t in full control of the car.

The road takes a sudden bend and I end up driving off the cliff edge. For some reason I’m thrown out and falling alongside the car. As I’m falling towards the water I’m aware of 1) that it’s a dream and 2) I shouldn’t be falling in dreams.

I wait to hit the water/see if the dream will change. I don’t know if I felt panicked but both the car and I hit the water. After being under the water, threading, wondering what to do I think I eventually woke up.

Any insight into this would be appreciated.

      Thanks.

      Hi Guest,

Thank you for sharing your dream with us. Please take everything that I say to the Holy Spirit as He Alone gives the accurate interpretation.

You are in a change of season/transition that is precarious to you. You have people/family around you, but you are/feel alone in navigating this new season, and you are watching your Ps and Qs to prevent conflict. However, this transition/season is beyond your control and the period might be long (could be a year and beyond).

      Advice:
You need to surrender, trust God, and ask Him how to navigate this season. You cannot shorten the time and all efforts to do so will only result in frustration. Do not be discouraged and use this time to deepen your relationship with the Lord and you will see depths and different facets of Him that you never had. This is a period to walk by faith and not by sight. The choice though is yours!

      Shalom!

      Hi F.E,

Thank you for your response. I choose God’s will and way! With the falling I honestly thought that 1) God would save me or 2) He’d make a way (hence expecting the dream to change before I hit the water)…either way I trusted that I’d be fine so didn’t understand why I was under the water and didn’t know what to do with nothing happening.

May I ask, what element of the dream points to a transition of season/long period?

      Thanks😊 .

      Hi Guest,

Thank you for asking the question. The answer is found here : “…I was driving along icy, winding, roads that might have been in the countryside (I couldn’t see the road surface because of the ice/light snow but for some reason sensed it wasn’t tarmacked).”

Transition- You left a venue. Entered your car and it was night. Night can suggest a period of confusion/darkness/lack of direction, but also a new season. The new day actually began in the evening in the old testament and you can see it in the creation story. I think all of the explanations of night applies in your dream/situation.
Icy- Icy can suggest precarious, but also something that is on “ice” and preserved for a period of time, hence longer period of time.

      I hope that helps.
      Shalom!
