I dreamed that I was in a small hotel. There were a row of computers that people could use. I was looking up stuff about spankings, and suddenly I was using the screen of the guy next to me. (He was maybe 40s~50s.) Extremely ashamed/embarrassed, I quickly tried to close out of the browser. He should have seen (he was using the computer when it happened), but he didn’t act like he saw.

I left the hotel. (I wasn’t checked in.) I now was in my room in one of the houses I grew up in. (We lived there when I was ages 9~20). My sister was there, not in my room, but in the hallways talking into my room at/with me. She went to bed. I was in bed and I wanted to sleep, but I kept wanting to go back to the hotel and talk to the guy who had been next to me (the guy whose screen I used), but I was uncertain/afraid to. I was also unsure if he’d still be there. But the thought/desire to connect with him kept nagging me…

Finally, I decided to go back to the hotel and check to see if he was there. It was late at night (in the 1am hour; 1:15ish? I saw it when I left the house) and he wasn’t there. But he had left his stuff at the computer. There were papers and a notebook. He had some pretty cool drawings (colored; anime/manga/cartoon-like) that he had drawn. I started getting anxious about him coming down and finding me rifling through his stuff. I found his email on a post-it note. It was “daniel@norman.com”.

I kept getting more afraid as I went through his stuff. That’s when I woke up. I think the fear might have gotten to a point where it woke me, which has happened in some nightmares I’ve had.

I cannot profess to know the interpretation of this dream but the following questions came to mind to hopefully assist you. Please keep on asking the Holy Spirit for the interpretation. His wisdom is what you should accept and obey.
1)Does Daniel Norman mean anything to you?
      2) Are you afraid of being “spanked” or judged by someone that it is creating stress that you cannot rest or enjoy your intimacy with God?
      3) Are you in a transition point in your life or trying to make a decision that was easy for your sister?
      4) Are you fearful or ashamed of someone/God being aware of a shortcoming?
Daniel means “God is my judge”
      Bed- place of intimacy/rest
Hotel- temporary place that will cost you but might be ‘relaxing’
      Hallway- transition
Sister- can be literal or represent the meaning of your sister or ‘sister in Christ’
Please note that God speaks to us in dreams to guide, correct, encourage, or warn us. He is a very loving Father. Also note that not all dreams are from God.

      Shalom!

I won’t profess to be able to interpret your dream either, but I agree with what Cheryl has sensed. I add thoughts/questions:

      1) Is there an area in your life that you are being pressured to, or tempted to, or finding yourself giving into? Something you should not be doing/apart of? Being like the world rather than Christ… Like being on the wrong computer screen…

      2) God doesn’t want you to obey Him out of fear, or fear of discipline. He desires that you obey Him because you trust Him and love Him and are connected/ walking in communion with Him. That is the only way to truly succed in making His ways out own… when we love Him SO much that you would never do anything to cause distance between you and Him. That is what a reverent fear is rather than a worldly fear. When you choose to honor and trust Him in this way, you will be healthier, stronger, further ahead than those who seem to be getting further ahead through the ways of the world.

      3) I got this scripture from Daniel and the time you left the house… 1:15….

“At the end of the ten days, Daniel and his three friends looked healthier and better nourished than the young men who had been eating the food assigned by the king.” Daniel‬ ‭1:15‬ (‭NLT‬‬)

I see the “daniel@norman.com) as Danial vs norman in life choices.

“Norman”, could mean a few things:

      1) Norman means man from the north (Babylon was invaded and brought down from an invading army from the north, Jeremiah 50:9). This to me says the ways of Babylon/man will fail in the end.

      2) It has 6 letters (the number of man), The ways of man never succeed.

      3) Some resources refer to Norman as “Norm” as in normal. I see Daniel contrasted to what was of man and normal in his day and age

Over all I believe The dream could indeed be a warning not to compromise in your walk with God. We are called to please HIM over man. The ways of the world will never pay off in the end. God’s ways are always best and blessed!

“Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.” ~Galatians‬ ‭1:10‬ (‭NLT‬‬)

      Blessings You You!
