I’m not an expert, but when I interpret friends’ and family’s dreams, they usually find me perceptive and accurate. I’ll try to interpret yours. Please let me know if it’s helpful.

Towels can also be connected to baptism. The towels being brand new and white also lends itself to the idea of baptism, when our sins are washed away and we’re made pure and new. The red rose on the towels could be symbolic of the blood of Christ. Roses are sometimes used as symbols of Jesus, and sometimes of Mary. The towels were also very expensive. Precious. 🙂

So your neighbor from better times is bringing you a gift of comfort. She is welcoming you to a new beginning and reminding you that you are starting afresh with God’s help. That is why you felt excited by the dream. Try to remember that when you are feeling helpless, alone, or afraid.

You might also try to get involved in the Christian community, taking strength from it, and adding your own. After all, it seems like she was welcoming to the neighborhood. 😉
