I had a dream a few months ago that I haven’t understood. I was given an eyeball (that is what I somehow knew what it was though it was bigger than a human eyeball and didn’t really look like an eyeball) with the assignment of protecting it. In my dream there was another “eyeball” that appeared and for a short time I was confused about which one was the eyeball I was responsible to protect. After that initial confusion it became very obvious which one was which, so obvious that I found myself wondering how I hadn’t been able to discern the difference right away. So I resumed my assignment and resigned myself that I would hold fast to the eyeball in my care and not be confused again. Then I woke up.

      Hello Lucinda,

Thank you for sharing your dream. I can profess to know the interpretation. Only the Holy Spirit gives the interpretation of dreams so kindly pass on everything I say here through His filter.

The dream imagery is very interesting. I had two “idioms”, one biblical and the other not so much, come to mind:
      1) Guard me as the apple of your eye. This is biblical imagery. Psalms 17:8 and others on the apple of the eye may minister to you as well. Is there something/someone cherished that God has given you that you need to protect?

      2) You’ve probably heard a number of times that “The eyes are the window to the soul”. Please pray for God’s protection over your mind, thoughts, emotions, and will (you may already be aware that these constitute your soul).
I pray against any confusion in any of the soul compartments.

Last but not least, I pray for wisdom, understanding. Proverbs 8 and Proverbs 4:7 come to mind. I hope this blesses you!

      Shalom!

My apologies of the typo as the second sentence should read “I cannot profess to know…”
      Shalom!

My apologies “for” the typo. It’s time for bed, long day, lol!
