Praise the Lord,
I am asking for you to join me in prayer on behalf of the educators in Portsmouth Public Schools in Virginia, especially those on the elementary level.
There remains mass confusion as our district, state, and government continues to add to and alter our curriculums. We are severely understaffed and are overwhelmed trying to “read the manual while flying the plane”.
Our teachers in middle school and high school are having to deal with extreme behaviors while teaching students.
Our division is small but remains divided on many issues.
I ask specifically for my school, Cradock Elementary as we have many teachers and students sick, positions left unfilled, a staff member in the hospital and one who just had a stillborn birth. In addition, I ask for prayers for my husband’s school, I.C. Norcom High School that also has positions unfilled and a great number of students who are battling with issues stemming from a poverty mindset, lack of parenting, violence, drug use, and homosexuality.
Thank you for joining those of us lifting up our schools as we continue to see God’s sustaining hand daily. -
I pray that God will intervene on the behalf of the students and staff. I pray against the spirits of confusion, chaos and despair. May God bless the system with His chosen leaders. I pray strength and healing for the teachers, and removal of all that don’t have the right motives and intentions for the children.
