Had another dream about a dining room. This time the initial part of the dream was like a family gathering in a living room (unfamiliar to me), the corridor immediately outside said living room and stairs. For one reason or another, the house had transparent glass windows and there was a group of (what appeared to be) university students, all male and apparently up to mischief and distracted trying to look into the house, jeering in a threatening way, completely unprovoked.

Next, they’ve got a baseball bat threatening to break the glass to get in. Then there’s gunshots (I assume, as all I see is the smoke and discharge from the shots but no bullets) and these guys scatter.

There’s something in between, that I don’t clearly recall, but then it’s a close family friends birthday. What transpires is “this house” that I/we’re in is like an amalgamation of houses, like a row of houses where the walls have been removed so it’s one big house and different families are living in their own quarters. Coming back to the family friends birthday, one of my parents are set cooking them a specific dish the birthday person really enjoys..birthday person comes to get their dish…I’m in their “quarters” and it turns out that they have set out a banquet. “Enjoy, take what ever” their child says. The spread looks delicious…but I’ve just toiled against the odds to make a (what I think was) pie…and I want to enjoy the spread and celebrate with the birthday person but I find it strange that 1)there is absolutely no one else in the room 2) if I eat I’d be full and the “pie” will go to waste.

Why is there no one else here? Is my over-riding thought.

Another thing, if God blesses his children with gifts of the spirit, can one acquire a gift (such as interpreting their own dreams) through petitioning and seeking Elohim?

      Thanks and God bless.
