The prophetic word for May 2026 is title 2020 version 2.0. Yeah, remember 2020? We could very well be entering version 2.0 of that.
I remember back in 2020 how the church was not prepared for what was coming, it was like we were in church one Sunday and the next we were at home with 6 weeks to “flatten the curve” which quite frankly didn’t seem to happen for another 3 years!
We need to pray that our churches find a way to share information that is relevant for the congregation to know, without fear, while still remaining grounded in the message of the Gospel. We can do both.
Many never returned to church because they felt they were not fully prepared in church by the church for what happened – spiritually, mentally, emotionally, financially and they found other avenues (online) to get their soul fed while keeping abreast of current affairs! How can you prepare you for something that was never talked about in church?
I keep being reminded of the story of Jesus healing on the Sabbath, doing something that was seen as wrong because it wasn’t done according to how the Pharisees thought it should be done. And He asked them, if your donkey falls in a ditch do you leave it there because it’s the Sabbath or get it out? (Luke 14:4-6) Sometimes we need the practicalities of life as a message in church!
In this post I am going to tell you about something that is on the forefront that you need to know about. This is so that you can prepare and pray.

Keep this mindset as you read
#1. Because most of us were not prepared for Covid we made mistakes, so ask yourself this question, what would I do differently the second time around? Were there things that you did/did not do that you regret later? Now is your chance to fix it.
And wouldn’t you know it, we are in the month of Iyar on the Hebraic Calendar which happens to be the month of Second Chances…you can’t make that up! A second chance to get it right! Regret is an emotional response and change requires actions not emotions.
#2. Many times when we talk about what is happening in the Middle East the church will say “this is the fulfillment of biblical prophecy, it’s the end times”. Yes, this is correct it is biblical prophecy but the issue at hand could be one of TIMING.
Sometimes, it can be a manmade scenario and not God ordained timing, sometimes it can be the devil overplaying his hand. When this is the case, prayer can change it! If the church sits back and doesn’t pray because “it’s prophecy”, the devil wins. Perhaps the actual end time event won’t be for another 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 years! Who knows?! We do not know the hour of His return and no amount of man made manipulation can influence it.
How many times did we watch Fred Sanford manipulate his son to try and get his way with “Elizabeth, I’m coming to you…this is the big one!”?

God is the One who determines when it is really the end of times! Not man.
When it is the timing of God no matter how much you pray it will never change.
PLEASE keep these two points in mind so you can read without fear, take this in as information, pray about it, process it, take action! If the Lord impress upon your heart to pray against certain things, do it! WE, the church of Jesus Christ, can stop it!

You may already know that there is a war happening in the Middle East and there are several countries involved in it. “They” would like to tell us that it is allllllll the waaayyyyyy over there and this won’t affect you but remember there was a virus in China in December 2019 and within 3 months we were on a lockdown in the US. It is also said that we don’t get fuel from that region so it won’t affect us in the USA, well then somebody needs to explain to me why we are paying higher gas prices!
You will be affected.
The Fuel Crisis will lead to a Food Crisis.
While the United States doesn’t get a lot of oil from that region we do get some and oil is priced on a global market that has to do with supply and demand. So, yes! We are going to pay more regardless. We do not live in a bubble what is affecting on in this type of scenario will affect all of us. Also, if other countries don’t have jet fuel, gasoline, diesel, kerosene to run their factories and industries, those goods cannot be made to be shipped worldwide.
The price of everything is going to go up, not just gasoline for your vehicle. Even your mail will go up, Fedex, DHL, UPS, all of it!
Some countries may have empty shelves, or huge gaps in the shelves, others will have items but the issue will become affordability.
One of the very first ways that this will affect all of us is jet engine fuel, which will mean flights will be canceled and that means fewer flights and you are going to pay a lot more to travel. Europe has 6 weeks worth of jet fuel left. The lower cost “Value” airlines will go out of business first because their profit margin is smaller. Which means the larger airlines will then be able to charge a lot more. Supply and demand.
A third of the fertilizer goes through the affected area which means there’s going to be a shortage of fertilizers which again affects the food. And even if you do have the food, it requires fuel to harvest and transport.
The fuel crisis will lead to a transportation crisis which will limit our movement. Think of it as an energy lockdown, this is how this is similar to 2020. If you don’t have fuel or it gets too expensive you can’t go to work you have to work from home, your children can’t go to school. The fuel is then reserved for emergency workers. Your leisurely travel to wherever you want to go for the rest of the year changes based on how “they” view it as essential travel. No fertilizer, no fuel means food crisis.
Please know that if the Strait of Hormuz opens TODAY we are still going to have a problem because it takes 10 – 45 days for the ships to arrive their destination. This started at the end of February which means last week the last ship arrived. There’s no more coming! It will take them a few weeks if it were opened today to reposition the ships to get them on their way. So perhaps in 2 months (60 days) the next ship will arrive instead of arriving every day or every other day to their destination. So we are already going to see an increase in price because of the backlog and the longer it stays closed, the deeper the impact of the closure.
During Covid, they stopped everything and thought they would just turn it back on and things would go back to normal, but it doesn’t work like that! Logistics just doesn’t turn on and off like that when you are thinking globally. We’re already 2 months behind, keep that in mind. When we get to the summer, you’ll see what the closer of the Strait did.
So what can you do?
Solution – if you know you have a trip coming up, buy the tickets and your accommodations as soon as possible because the prices will sky rocket. It may not be a bad idea to get insurance on everything just in case you need to cancel because who knows what will happen between now and when you need to travel. You also want to check the status of the country where you will be visiting before you go because you may be able to fly in but you can’t fly out or there is no gasoline so you can’t go anywhere when you do get there! Here is a list of the airlines (as of today) that have already started canceling flights and adding extra costs to the tickets.
Solution – you need to have some food, supplies on hand. Buy what you eat, eat what you buy. Don’t hoard or panic buy anything, please pray it through and ask the Lord what you need and how much you should get. When you buy, think long term storage food items because you don’t know when it will start and you don’t know how long it will go on. Do some research on how to properly store food so you don’t waste anything. And please remember, toilet paper doesn’t solve that many problems. They will not tell you when we are having a crisis because they don’t people to panic buy. So if you are waiting for them to say it, they won’t!

For those of you who say but I just read about another cease fire… SURE!! Here’s my response to that…
There is what is being said ,and then there is what is being done…and the two things are not reconciling with each other. Yesterday they tapped GM and Ford – yes the automakers – to start making weapons to increase production of munitions and tactical hardware, including missiles and counter-drone technology. And, they still have thousands more troops that are going to the region.
Until the actions line up with the words, I approach this as if nothing has changed.
And, what if nothing happens? You eat what you bought, because you bought what you eat! And you were still going to take your trip anyway! So how do you lose in this situation? You don’t!
This is just our way of showing you the ditch so you can navigate your donkey away from it.

And, now for God’s. Remember Joseph was sold into slavery, went to prison to then end up as the Prime Minister of Egypt. It was the intention of man to cause harm but GOD was glorified through it. Joseph was in place for the preservation of the people in a time of famine.

Prayer: Lord we ask the You raise up the Josephs in this hour. Move them into the position where You can use them all over the world in every nation. Whatever the enemy meant for evil, for greed, for selfish gain, we ask that You turn it to good, thwart the plans of the enemy, turn it to foolishness. We ask for the preservation of life, souls to be won into Your kingdom as a result of it. Supernatural provisions made for those who can’t afford it. Your plans will stand firm forever, the purpose of Your heart through all the generations. We know that Your plans for us are good, not evil, to give us a hope and a future. May Your Name be glorified in this through us Your people. Jehovah Mishpat, God of Justice and Judgement, come now defend the hopeless, the hapless and the helpless, the widows, the orphans, the foreigners in our land, the disenfranchised those who are in great need, we need You, bring Your righteousness, balance the scales, restore justice, bring order in the midst of chaos. Do the one thing that only You can do to bring justice, Prince of Peace descend upon Israel with salvation in Jesus Name, Amen.

I need to say this, I know what you just read sounds like I spend a lot of time reading the evening news. Well, I don’t. What generally happens is that how the Lord shows up to me in the heavenlies – how He looks and how He is dressed speaks to what He’s doing on the earth.
When I see a great deal of angelic activity and warfare, I know that something is going on. It is at these points that I pay attention to the news as it stands as a confirmation of what I am already seeing in the heavenly realms.
For the past 4 months, at least, all I am seeing is fire. Angels of fire, Jesus with fire in His eyes, Jesus wearing a robe of fire. It’s just fire, fire and more fire. And there is a lot of warfare happening. Lots of angels coming down into the earth realm to battle.
Fire removes dross, all the impurities. As such every dirty, evil thing is being exposed because the FIRE is causing it to be evident.
Last week, I saw the Lord pouring fire from heaven down to the earth. I was thinking oh my word! Then I asked Him, what is that?
He said “the Refiner’s fire”
Malachi 3:2-3
“But who can endure the day of his coming, and who can stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner’s fire and like fullers’ soap. He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, and they will bring offerings in righteousness to the LORD.”
Who are the sons of Levi? The priests, the pastors, the bishops, the leaders in the church!
Zechariah 13:9:
This third I will put into the fire;
I will refine them like silver
and test them like gold.
They will call on my name
and I will answer them;
I will say, ‘They are my people,’
and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’”
First you get refined, where the dross is exposed. Then you get tested so that you can come forth as gold.
1 Peter 1:6-7
In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
You ever visit someone’s house and feel like you caught them at a bad time so you say “Anyhoo, I’ll catch up with you later!” LOL. That is how I was feeling when I saw Him pouring that fire unto the earth it looked molten lava from a volcano.
Is it bad time Jesus? Oh, A Refiner’s fire? Oh, Ok. I can come back later, LOL.
Brothers and Sisters, we are being refined and it never feels good when we are going through it but know that in the end we will be a pure, spotless Bride without a wrinkle or a stain.
