I saw Tor, my black horse, in our side paddock next to our house ( which is part of the large paddock where he actually lives) and his entire rear end had collapsed so that he was dragging his back legs behind him along the ground. It was as though his hind legs were completely paralysed.

I then saw him curled up in a ball on the ground, his chest, shoulders and neck sitting upright and his legs folded in under him. There was a crowd around him who were concerned about him and discussing how they could help him.
