The other night while I was asleep I had one of my common gasp and wake up moments. When I awoke, I realized what I had just experienced was not real life. With a sigh of relief, I wrote down my dream and went back to bed.

The Dream:
I don’t remember the whole story but here are some of the backgrounds to the climax of the dream. I am sitting with friends, we are in a new place and I can’t quite remember what city we were in, however I was hanging out with a group. In this group there were about 5 people, N, E, B, A, and S. We started out in an apartment, they were drinking and partying (I am sober, but still hang around the same crowds). Now because it was a dream I don’t exactly remember how we got to the field, but I remember we were standing and looking at the stars. I remember the stars, they were so clear (imagine the stars on an old mountain road at 2am, the brightness and intensity overwhelming). In these stars, I saw a shape, a man, old, with a beard, formed by the stars. This man was reaching out to me, trying to give me a hug. I tried to show my friends the consolation, but they could not see it. As I was desperately trying to get them to see, the figure disappeared and was replaced by a cloud. All of a sudden, there was a lightning strike across the sky, and the cloud now covered the stars. Then bam, the lightning struck right next to me, in front of my friend E. It caused her to jump back, startled. The ground in front of her smoldering in a circle like shape: black inside, and red outline. It was at this moment I realized it was a dream, and I woke up gasping for air a second later.

I do not know what this dream means, or if I will get a response from anyone. However, I do know 2 things. 1, I am compelled to share this dream on this platform, and 2. I believe this dream is important to me an my future. So please help me! Thank you.
