GuestAs I was falling asleep, I had a picture of my significant other and I getting married. There was this white, evil looking, fanged white rabbit standing behind shaking its head. It was scary. My focus went back to us standing together and then I looked down next to his feet and saw a badger standing on his left side. The badger was calm and peaceful. Then I heard someone say, “there is a pelican on the way!” That dream ended there.
When I was asleep, I dreamt I was at my grandparents house with my sister and my dad and some other people. I don’t know who. Behind their house is a very small grouping of trees. There was snow. And in the snow, I saw a black bunny(the word I heard was bunny not rabbit). On its left side was a gapping wound. You could see its ribs and organs and there was infection. The bunny was crying and knew if it didn’t get help, it would die, but it didn’t want to die. I felt like I needed to help it. When I walked toward it, there was this massive buck-deer. And it was kind of zombie-fied. It had blood on its antlers and blood dripping from its mouth and hooves and really evil, crazy eyes. The buck had caused the gapping wound to the bunny. Behind the “main” buck were several smaller ones. They seemed evil and the air around them felt heavy.
I had compassion for the bunny. It was hurt and I knew it wanted to live. My dad and sister told me not to take care of it, because I would get attached and it would die. But I felt like I needed to rescue the bunny. I picked him up and started to put drops into the wound to clean the infection.
While I was tending to the bunny inside, the antlers on the deer outside started to fall off and the deer started to die. While the deer were falling dead, I saw little woodland creatures start to reappear: Chipmunks, squirrels, birds. They had disappeared because the deer kept trying to kill them.Eventually, my dad started to help me care for the bunny because he could tell I loved it and wanted it to live.
By the end of the dream, the deer were dead, the bunny was my friend, like a pet, and I had managed to close the wound most of the way, I was just looking for butterfly closures to help the skin grow back in place when I woke up.
