Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Please pray that this week, Members of Parliament in Canada make the necessary amendments to Bill C-9 (Combatting Hate Act) before it is passed. This bill (as it stands) will remove the “good faith religious defence” in Canadian criminal law (Section 319 of the Criminal Code). If this is removed, it will have an adverse impact on Christian leaders, preachers, and believers, restricting Christians from sharing certain Biblical Truths included in the Holy Bible. Biblical Truths that must be continually shared and preached, such as morality, the sanctity of marriage (between a man and a woman), gender (that God created only male and female), sexuality (in a God-ordained marriage between a man and a woman, for the beautiful gift of procreation), etc. This cannot happen. Please pray that the “good faith religious defence” remains in the Criminal Code and that any other necessary changes are made to ensure that Christians will not be punished by the law for sharing many essential Biblical Truths included in God’s Holy Word. Finally, please pray for all in my prayer book. Thank you.
