Saints, I humbly ask for prayers for my husband.He was medically retired from the air force with a grapefruit sized brain tumor in 2010. The doctors removed his right temporal lobe. His career was cut short at 29. We met serving at church and were married in 2022. He was raised by an abusive father\family. His father hated him and threatened to kill him as a young boy and he almost killed himself at age 10. Thankfully he is a Christ follower and loves Jesus dearly. However he has a hard time not tearing himself down or belittling himself. As a wife raised by verbally abusive parents this is even more heartbreaking to me.

He was so badly abused that he verbally attacks himself randomly. I can’t seem to make heads or tails of it. It seems to come out of nowhere. It seems like a demonic attack its almost involuntary. He was also so badly abused and manipulated by his aunts in his life he has a fear of standing up for himself and setting healthy boundaries. His parents are both deceased.

I am trying to learn how to be a submissive wife but my husband seems to have no direction in life. He has never been unkind to me but he has no direction. I have been trying to teach him about spiritual warfare and putting on the armor of God because in the past 2 years he has been getting numbing and electrical sensations running down his body. At first I thought this was physical then I realized as we would pray and quote scripture it would leave. These physical attacks on top of him involuntarily verbally attacking himself has been so very draining to him and me and our marriage. We have recently moved in with my parents as we await the sell of our home out of state. We do not have the finances to rent or purchase without it selling. It was a leap of faith to move and this decision was covered by prayer and fasting. His family was trying to destroy our marriage. Please pray for us, please pray for me to know how to help my husband. He is the only person who has shown me the unconditional love of Christ I desperately want him to be able to extend that love and grace to himself.We are fasting now to try and break through this trauma. Any Ho!y Spirit led advice would be a God send. Thank you so much for your time and prayers. I am desperate for breakthrough
