I feel like God has turned His back on me. My son suffers from PTSD and it is tearing our family apart- especially the relationship between my son and his father, and my son and my brother. If I pray about it, it seems to get worse. Also, it looks like my husband’s cancer might be back, and on top of that, I lost my job over a year ago and haven’t been able to find steady work since.
I am at the end of my rope. How can I believe that God loves me and cares for me when every time I pray, things get worse?

More evidence that things get worse when I pray – my son just tried to kill himself.
Why do things always get worse when I pray. I have never seen God answer any of my prayers. The only answer I ever get from Him is more pain.
