Hi Nicole and MOP:
I’d often started writing this prayer/praise report and something always cropped up that prevented the full written praises to God. My husband and I discovered MOP many years ago as we were going through yet another trial/war season . Some seasons were difficult out of our own disobedience & generational trauma. Others were attacks especially related to family/generational healing and wealth transfer/finances/employment struggles. Discovering MOP was birth and desire to go into the deeper things of God and my strong pull towards prophetic words/messages in a time when others in my church and workplace ministries considered prophecy/prophetic words and Hebrew calendar references “spooky” and taboo. My heart hungered & thirsted for God so I said “yes Lord” to whatever He wanted to do to heal, make whole & direct our steps. My husband soon joined in and we started praying & taking communion with our MOP community. Our lives have been drastically changed & looks nothing like a mere 7 years ago. Our marriage has been healed and long-term unhealthy habits born out of childhood trauma is gone. 20+ years of ongoing underlying issues individually and as a couple…gone.
Praise His holy name. Now, we’re being asked to lead marriage ministries, consider creating a marriage blog/podcast & asked my younger couples to mentor them. Only God could’ve done this! Next, we have cried out to God for our children who value society and cultures way more than God though raised to love God and keep His word in their hearts. They chose the total opposite starting in teenage years that culminated in drug/alcohol use, illicit sex, wrong relationships, pregnancies, incarceration, street life, etc. One adult child was sent back home by God and the healing process began years ago. Process is almost complete before they launch again into full adulthood. One child returned home twice. First with a young child who has been left in our care. Thank God, we shudder to think of the alternative at this point. The last time that they returned home God gave my husband a word when they were falling back into their old ways & starting to create/bring chaos & chaotic people around. God soon moved that adult child back out again but left us with hope and one word “restored”. There is very low contact with that child with us or their child. Blessedly, God raised up a village to help raise the young child who loves God and is thriving. Next, wealth transfer. We’ve sold & bought real estate. We lost some money on a sell out of not obeying God’s voice to wait. We were so weary that we moved forward with the sell. It was a very difficult and contentious sell but glad that it was o Dr in the moment. Later, we realized that we should’ve listened to God to wait but this revelation came after being in a
temporary housing situation for many months. God has been faithful to land more real estate for us as well as two promotions and tangible things at low or no costs. We have been faithful to pay tithes/offerings and donate everything that we don’t use. Oftentimes, blessing others and God in turn blesses us. We’re shocked to see what God has done in our careers, education, housing, etc. Noone in our families have been able to breakthrough to this level in God and in life. Our mental and physical health has been attacked over and over BUT God delivered us from it all & healed us. That’s our story: Blessings upon blessings in the midst of trial/war seasons. We thank God that though it has come nigh that nothing had overtaken us. In fact, God showcases something completely different through us. Many see His touch but not the battles/scars though we are prompted to share often. We’ve learned to move in silence unless God prompts us to speak about it hence reason for anonymous testimony though trumpeting God’s goodness from the rooftops. All glory to Him! -
