My husband suffers from PTSD after deployment in the US Army. He also has a very difficult past and unsupportive family. This is a very difficult path that not many understand. Life itself has improved yet he still struggles and hurts deeply. Our marriage is often in danger, because simple problems, or deeper problems can offset or worsen his situation. I know fully that the enemy continuously tries to interfere in our relationship, and inhibit him from making progress. It’s heavily discouraging. I have a lot of hope and faith, but have yet to see the tangible and permanent results of God’s breakthrough. Positive experiences often end in a downhill battle. I am literally the only one he trusts and the only one he has to support him. With that, I am the only possible one who can hurt him. So when he gets hurt, the effect is very extreme. I also need help staying strong and encouraged. It never seems to be getting better. Please pray, believe, and declare!!!!!!
