I keep having recurring dreams of me trying to run from my past but it seems when I am running it is in slow motion. I then jump amd seem to be swimming but in the air and I appear to be going alot faster.

I believe this IS the interpretation. You are running from your past, which is a good thing! Phil 3:14 tells us to “press toward the goal/mark for the prize of the upward call of God in Jesus Christ ”
Don’t look back, don’t turn to the left or the right, but look straight ahead. Keep pressing toward your future!
