I thought about the Bible story found in Joshua 7:18-26. Achan, a member of the tribe of Judah, stole a robe, silver and gold from Jericho, which the Lord had said belonged to him. Achan hid the items in his tent and several people had to suffer due to “sin in the camp.” This story reminds us that sin is not isolated or hidden, but God sees. We cannot hide our sins from the Lord. It is best to confess them and repent.
Do not know if this is a call to stand in the gap for someone and cry out for mercy or if this is highlighting sin in your own life. Again, confess your faults and ask God to forgive you and show mercy.
