I had two dreams that were sort of combined. In the first dream, I was roommates again with Daniel (my brother) in a bigger city. He and I went to get food one night at a place like Millie’s but on a modern third story of an apartment complex. Daniel went first to go grab food and I went five minutes after him so essentially Daniel was gone by the time I got there and then he and I were just going to meet back up at the apartment. When I got to the health restaurant Daniels’s former roommate (Russel) was there. He saw me and we started talking. He knew nothing about my life but heard from the Holy Spirit something specific about my current situation in life. He wanted to help in the form of prayer. One of the scriptures he said was Isaiah 53:5, “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes, we are healed.” (NKJV) He specifically said “by his stripes, we are healed” or at least that is the part that really stood out to me. I had a memory of my grandad saying the same thing to me in my dream. Anyway, that was the first part of my dream. The second part was with a couple that was mentoring me at the time. We were hanging out one day at the same apartment complex and there was a massive pool. We all decided to go swimming and then I had to leave to go back to work. I rode the air subway back to my apartment complex – everything was modern and a little more upscale in my dream. Anyway, I got back to my apartment and my friend Katie was there. She and I talked for just a few minutes and then I got a text from my boss. She asked me what time I needed to get back on the clock. I told her within three minutes. She and I said goodbye and Katie left. I was so exhausted I accidentally fell asleep without even showering after swimming at the pool earlier. I wake up (in the dream) and I couldn’t see completely out of my right eye. I can only see out of my left eye. I go to the bathroom mirror and see black debris and gunk as well as dead bugs in my right eye that were supposedly caused by the pool water. I started cleaning my right eye out and also pulled a massive slug out of my right eye. I was mortified and disgusted. The slug was still alive and when I put it on the counter it started trying to get away. I told myself I was going to flush it down the toilet but I was still trying to get the rest of the debris out of my right eye. I then got distracted and picked up my phone to see what my boss had texted me the day before because I was stressed that I missed a text from him and then the dream practically ended. I can’t remember the rest of my dream except that the text was just an informative one and nothing regarding work that day.
