The best way I can articulate this prayer request is to copy and paste what my husband, Eddie, and I sent to our friends AND what my spiritual mother sent to us:

My husband’s text:
Family, the Youngs are coming to you with news. After some recent frustrations and a lot of prayer, we have left our local assembly. We spoke with our Pastor on Tuesday, and he knows. The plan is to be led by God into our next direction and that may include pastoring an existing church, planting a new church, or creating an organization that works alongside churches (parachurch). Regardless, as with any major transition, we are asking for your prayers.

Spiritual Mother:
Wow! Listening to this without distractions! I usually don’t remember personal prophecies but I do remember us( me, you and Eddie ) were sitting in that fellowship hall (don’t ask me what church) after my preaching and the Lord said you all would pastor. The only advice I would give is don’t try to envision what God is doing, that is to say you have no idea what the future for you look like. He gives us the pleasure of envisioning our dreams and partners with us, but when it is His purpose, just like Abram we have no clue! We can only do what Abram did, worship and look for God in everything. I do know that church as usual is done and if pastors want to get people back in the pews they are going to have to follow the lead of the Holy Spirit.
