Hi everyone. I could really use some guidance here. I had a rather serious 5 year relationship with a man who I dearly loved. When it ended I was understandably sad, but I slowly moved on with my life. I have had no communication with him for years, I don’t keep in contact with anyone in his life in real life or social media. However, I can not stop dreaming about him in such vivid dreams. It’s been 4 years now and I still have these dreams almost nightly. I feel like I can’t move on with my real life when this is bringing me down constantly. I awaken in a cold sweat and feel rattled after the dreams.
The dream always has a similar theme. He is there and I want to be with him, but I can’t. I am being rejected by him in every dream. Either I find out he has a significant other, or he just doesn’t want to be with me. More specifically I wil have dreams where I am with him cuddling or physically together in other ways, but it always feels like any second he will be taken from me and leave. Or I feel as if he isn’t mine, and I know that. It’s always sadness and heartache in the dream. It’s never a happy encounter where things feel happy. I’m always left unfulfilled, upset, and chasing him blindly.
It’s been 4 years and I feel like I have tried everything. My life has been held captive by these dreams and I don’t know what to do. Any help is appreciated.

Hello Chrissy, you are correct! The first thing you need to do is sever soul ties with him. This will disconnect you from him in the spirit realm. While you may not physically be with him if you did not cut those soul ties you are still connected to him in the spirit.

The next thing I discern from your dream is a spirit of rejection. If he imparted this spirit on you, then whenever you dream about him it may not actually be him but the spirit of rejection manifesting as him in your dreams. Which means shortly after those dreams you were rejected for something – a job, a promotion, credit applications. Think back to when you had dreams of him if you were actually in the process of waiting for approval on something and it didn’t work out.
You need to cut and bind the spirit of rejection, in the name of Jesus. Denounce all ties to that spirit. Now you reject the spirit of rejection. I know it sounds funny but you need to make it very clear out of your own mouth that spirit is no longer welcome in your presence.
I know one thing for sure, if you do these 2 things you will no longer see him in your dreams. If you do see him after several months in your dream that is just God telling you that the spirit of rejection is lurking around and you need to bind rejection and loose approval, in Jesus name, Amen.

Wow you have been so helpful in your response, I didn’t even realize that was going on until I read your message. The page you linked on soul ties is exactly what’s happening!
Also, what you said about the spirit of rejection is spot on. I never realized how big of a role that was playing in my life. I thank you greatly, and I will work on saying both of those prayers and paying special attention to what lurks in my dreams.
