      Hello there,

I’m requesting prayer for CAMERON F. Cameron is an old student of mine who is now 24. He is dealing with addiction, specifically marijuana and alcohol. Both are affecting him greatly. He never finished high school but has been trying to complete his final courses. However, a lack of motivation and his addictions have kept him unmotivated and discouraged. He has not completed his diploma yet.

He has been working in jobs that are not fulfilling to him. They involve heavy labor and he is now feeling the depressing effects of this because he has no desire to be working in this area. He is also dealing with numbness in his hands due to the labor. I’m positive it’s also due to his addictions and the depression brought on by the substances. The mind is very powerful and has a tremendous effect on our bodily functions.

Please pray that Cameron turns his life around. Marijuana has been a go-to drug for years now. It is impacting his motivation, his memory, and all cognitive skills. Alcohol is doing the same, but the drug of choice at present is cannabis. Please pray that he no longer feels compelled to abuse these substances. Pray for a full release from these addictions. Pray that the Holy Spirit hovers above him and opens his eyes to the realization that these are holding him back from a future of purpose and fulfillment. Please pray for full healing of the mind, for hope, peace, strength, and the desire to move away from the things that are hurting him. Also, please pray that he turns to Christ in all of this. That he finds a relationship with Him, the only true Comforter & Healer. We are hoping he will finish his schooling. He has a bright mind, but until he can say NO to these substances, his future will remain bleak. Please pray for Cameron and his mother Sherryl (and his family) throughout all of this. Give them the knowledge and direction they need to support Cameron positively so that he will make wise decisions and get whatever help or assistance he needs to overcome the addictions and find success in his life. I ask you to please join me in prayer for Cameron F in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Thank you. God bless.

      Chris

Heavenly Father, Great I Am. How we worship You! King of Glory, all honor and majesty belong to You. You are Creator, and Lover of all Your creation. We are the apple of Your eye. We are precious in Your sight, and how much Your heart swells with love for us. We thank You for Your continual pursuit of us, for You will leave the 99 to find [any] one of us. For according to Matthew 18:12, “What do you think? If any man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains, and go and search for the one that is lost?”

I thank You for Chris – that his heart for Cameron led him to seek prayer through a community that seeks You first. I also thank You for Cameron. I thank You for Your strong hedge of protection around him. I ask that You give him the desire to be sober and sober-minded. In Your timing, in Your way. We ask that You fill Cameron so completely, so wholly, that he has no desire to numb from the pains of his circumstances or this world. I also ask that You close any doorways that were opened through drugs and drinking, for Cameron is covered under the blood of Jesus.

Holy Sprit, I ask that You minister to Cameron’s spirit and reveal to him how loved and unique he is. That Your special purpose for him is so great. What the enemy meant for harm, You will turn for his good. For according to Genesis 50:20, “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive.” Abba Father, may this all be used for his testimony of Your goodness, faithfulness and love. We trust You. We worship You. We give You all the glory, honor and praise.

Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus’s Name, Amen.
