Prayers for my son, I am so worried. He is 2 & 1/2 years and not talking yet.

Hi Tomilola,
I will pray for your son. Try not to put a label on him. God knows why he is not yet talking and you don’t want to label him as one thing or the another. Your words as his mother are VERY powerful because you are in a covenant relationship and you have the ability to speak into his future.
Here’s what you need to be saying “my son is healthy, he’s fine, he will start talking soon, God is building his spiritual gift within him and when he starts talking there will be so much wisdom coming from hims mouth”. You need to keep saying that. Think it and speak it.
Only positive words should be spoken over him. Regardless of what it looks like now, God is working on him. Don’t let the enemy (or doctors) let you speak negativity into the life of you son.
Whenever he tries to speak with you or communicate with his eyes just say to him “I can’t wait for you to start talking so we can talk about everything you are excited about. I cannot wait to hear what you have to say”. Continue to speak with him even though he is not responding. If you treat him like he is speaking then guess what? one day he will!
