DREAM 1 – Beautiful Mansion & Judges Mallet
I believe this dream is about my workplace because work colleagues and my bosses are in the dream.

I was in a huge mansion again (like in a previous dream) and I had a knowing that it belonged to Mum (Holy Spirit). This time the house was finished and looking stunningly beautiful. (ie. Not dark and empty/vacated by previous owners like in a previous dream.) This mansion was either newly built or freshly renovated and was on display, so people were looking around, like they were doing a tour. I was thinking how you could tell that there was no expense spared to make everything top quality, that there was absolutely no shortage of money available to make everything absolutely perfect. I thought about how the visitors would be so impressed with the house. I remember walking on some stepping stones made of natural, creamy brown aggregate pebbles in a rainforest transition area between two parts of the building, so it was beautifully landscaped around the mansion as well. It was very pleasant walking through this area that curved around to the right because it was so beautifully finished and manicured to perfection. No weeds or untidiness!

One of the visitors gave me a mallet that they had found lying around. My impression was that a worker/labourer had been working on the house and left it behind by accident. I assumed that it must have looked out of place, so the visitor gave it to me because it seemed that I was employed by the house, worked there or had an official capacity of some kind within the house, therefore I was someone who would take care of the situation on behalf of the house. I didn’t look at it closely but it was quite large and heavy, so I held it close to my body, against my chest and tummy to help me hold/support the weight of it. I saw my boss walking towards me from a dead end corridor that was like a conservatory made of glass on all sides, including the roof and I explained why I was carrying the mallet, as I thought it might look unusual and that she might wonder why I was doing it. I also explained that I knew this was a dead end but I just wanted to have a look at the view out of the glass observatory because I like looking at beautiful views and it was a beautiful garden/fernery outside.

I met up with my husband (Jesus) and I told him about the mallet as well. I said that maybe I should have let the visitor keep the mallet, but straight away, He said no sternly. He seemed shocked and perplexed (furrowed brow) that I had even suggested it. He immediately explained that letting them keep it would have adverse legal implications for ‘the house’. It would have brought accusation of wrongdoing against ‘the house’. I then also had a closer look at the mallet and noticed that it looked more like a judges gavel because it was made of lovely polished mahogany wood and had an ornate, wood turned handle. It did not look like a battered old workman’s tool from a building site at all!

My previous boss was there and we were standing in an area which had huge high ceilings, like in the centre court of a shopping centre. Where I was standing, rain was falling on my head. My previous boss was the one who saw it and said just step out from under that, there’s a leak in the roof and you are getting wet. His grandson was there also, observing this interaction and he was smiling at me. (I am currently his teacher.)

      Hello KMC,

Thank you for sharing your dream with us. Please take everything that I share to the Holy Spirit as He Alone gives the accurate interpretation.

I only have a few responses without going into too much details about the elements of your dream.

You have been given the responsibility of something in the midst of a dead end and “leaky” situation. Pray for wisdom and courage to act accordingly. Although you mentioned a mallet, Jeremiah 51:20 comes to mind. Please ask the Lord how that applies to you. The leaky roof could represent a church or work environment that is unstable or not ideal. Again you will play a key role in transformation.

      Shalom!

      Hello KMC,
I also wanted to add that the way (strategy) to effect the change needed is a softer (mallet) vs a harsh (axe) approach in judging, transforming, and providing guidance for the people in the unstable environment, be it work and/or church.

      Shalom!
