As I had finished writing the above, I went down to start making a late supper (I just woke up from a nap and responded to your clarification) and I felt the Lord say “Go back and tell her that she is very much loved” and the second impression I got is that the answer to this dream is related with the dream you shared about the pink/red hair. Perhaps, it has to do with the “black” regrowth mentioned in that dream, that is, the black bird, query sister, news are related to a negative type of thinking perhaps that you had outgrown (as per the interpretation provided above) but then you resorted (black regrowth) to it again.
