Jehovah Jireh,
I pray in agreement with Wai. You say you will supply all our needs according to your riches in glory in Christ. You know and you see Wai’s needs and the needs of her mom and brother. We pray for wisdom, and for Wai to be sensitive to your guidance and counsel. Lord, you say that you have not given us a spirit of fear but of love and a sound mind so I pray that if there is fear, that your spirit of peace, truth and love cast it out and that Wai be able to experience the peace and freedom that is hers in Christ. Lord, we ask that you give Wai the insight to know how to steward and manage the realities of her situation and that she be able to partner with you in doing what you know is best.
Lamentations 3:17-26
New International Version
17 I have been deprived of peace;
I have forgotten what prosperity is.
18 So I say, “My splendor is gone
and all that I had hoped from the Lord.”
19 I remember my affliction and my wandering,
the bitterness and the gall.
20 I well remember them,
and my soul is downcast within me.
21 Yet this I call to mind
and therefore I have hope:
22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.”
25 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly
for the salvation of the Lord.
