I’m unclear what you mean by “he has currently engaged again.” Nevertheless, I think the main message is found here “I had his son with me and gave him back to his dad.” Again, I’m unclear if he has an actual son. If he does, you might be instrumental in reconciling the son with the dad in some shape or fun.
