It appears that someone in your life or in the future is/will dealing with mental illness. I’m not sure if you have children or married. The boy can represent an immature/vulnerable person. I’m not sure if you are male either. Either way, it is/will be your responsibility to address this issue. The knife may be symbolic of words causing mental distress but could also be literal. I feel it is the former.
Here’s a rhetorical question for you. “Who in your current life is in mental anguish as a result of spoken words?”
