Prophetic Word – Counterfeit

prophetic word counterfeits

This prophetic word is titled Counterfeit.

Who is this for?  Everyone.  This will help you identify the counterfeit or determine if you are the counterfeit.  This will help you with ministries, churches,  marriage partner, business partner or long term friendships.

It’s long, so take your time.  I divided it into sections so you can read a section at a time.  In the end, I’m sure you’ll be able to clearly see where people fit in your life.

Definition of Counterfeit – made in exact imitation of something valuable or important with the intention to deceive or defraud.

This post is based on something that happened in 2020.  I knew I would write about this but I was waiting on the right timing and the Lord reminded me and I realized that some of you may be in a place where you may need this over the next few months as you transition.

A counterfeit can show up at any time but during your transitions is when you really need to be paying attention because you’ll get fooled easier then. Why?  A change of environment, job, home, church, you’re not in your usual setting.

Do you like perfume or cologne?  I LOVE a good scent.

Using Perfume language to identify a counterfeit

Top Notes – This is what you smell when you just sprayed the perfume (the first impression). It’ a specific note like Roses.

Middle Notes (heart notes) – what you smell after 10-15 minutes of wearing the perfume.  The heart notes lasts longer than the top notes and can go on for about 20 minutes – 1 hour after applying the perfume.  It goes into another note like Tonka Beans.

Base Notes (the dry down) – what you smell after the perfume has integrated with your body chemistry.  What it smells like on you. 2 people can wear the same perfume and it smells completely different on them.  Your body chemistry is what changes the fragrance on each person.  The base notes also has it’s own fragrance, like cedar wood, but it is your body chemistry mixed with the cedar wood that will determine if it smells good on you or not. The base note can be detected 40 minutes later up to 12 hours depending the brand and composition – eau de toilette or eau de parfum.

The perfume is going through different stages before you get to the final stage. It’s going through a process.

Projection – how far away from you someone needs to be to smell your perfume.  Some perfumes you can smell without coming up close to the person.  Some you only smell if you hug them.

Longevity – how long it lasts on you.  Some you need to respray it after 2 hours, others you can spray it on your clothes and tomorrow if you pick up the same jacket and put it on you can still smell the perfume on it.

Sillage (the trail) – French word pronounced see yaaj.  It’s like the wake left by a ship.  You can smell the perfume long after the person wearing it has left the building.  The smell sticks around.  Have you ever entered an elevator and smelled someone’s perfume and they are not even in the elevator?  That’s sillage.  This could be a good smell or a bad smell.

Blind Buy – You never tested the perfume on the skin to see if it works with your body chemistry, You bought it based on someone else’s recommendation. You’re buying it blind.

Cold Weather vs Hot Weather Perfume – Your perfume changes depending on the weather.  When it is hot outside the notes are intensified so lighter scents work better.  Otherwise, your smell can overpower a room.  However, in the colder weather it evaporates slower which means the middle notes lasts longer and it also doesn’t project as much and you may end up with little to no sillage.  Therefore, you can have different perfumes that you use in the cold weather as opposed to hot weather.  You may be one that didn’t even know this because you only know it if you transition from  hot climate to cold or vice versa.  Same idea with day time fragrances as opposed to nighttime fragrance.  Or sometimes, depending on the occasion you may change your perfume.

It doesn’t matter if you are male or female the same rules apply.

On to the story…

Back in  2020 when we all went into lock down with all the stores being closed we had to resort to some kind of delivery service or online shopping.

Well, I had about 5-6 wears left in one of my favorite perfumes. This one is my “grab and go” perfume.  I don’t have to put any thought into it as to the occasion, time of day, season, etc.  I just put it on and it works for every occasion and in my weather.

Normally I would go into the department store to buy it but this time I couldn’t do that.  Transitioning from direct buy in a store to online shopping.

I have no idea why I didn’t just go to the website of the department store where I usually buy it.  No, instead I noticed there was a store that had it $20 cheaper.

It’s never on sale and normally this would be a red flag for me but again, I thought it’s Covid, they can’t move the product fast enough so it’s on sale.  During Covid, there were a lot of things heavily discounted in the stores so it looked normal to me.

I went on the website, read all the reviews, saw that they sold many other fragrances, and there were no complaints from anyone not receiving the product or that it was defective or a counterfeit.

As I was paying for it a notice came up that said that delivery would take longer than normal because of the lockdown.  Well, that is to be expected.

Two months went by and it had not arrived.  Now I became really suspicious so I went looking on the site again to see where they were shipping it from, as I did not check this before.  Russia.  Oops!

This was my second clue that something was wrong.  The perfume house is in London so that was a red flag for me.  I decided to wait and see anyway.  It arrived after 3 months and I was skeptical; however, everything looked perfect!  The packaging is not your usual cellophane over a box, no, this is a very elaborate packaging for perfume. I went as far as lining up the box with the other box I had, put the 2 bottles next to each other.  It looked exactly the same.

The smell test.  It smelled exactly the same.  At this point I was confident that this was a genuine product.

It passed the Top Notes check and the packaging was exactly the same. Waited a few minutes, checked again, it passed the middle note check.   I was happy with it. I moved on, didn’t look to investigate any further.

A  month later, I was heading out to church and I sprayed it on for the very first time my usual amount.   Somewhere within 2 hours, I’m realizing I can’t smell my perfume.  This usually lasts about 8 hours on me, hmmm.  I’m thinking maybe I’m just getting used to the smell to the point where I can’t smell it anymore?

Next time I go to wear it, I am spraying on more than I would normally spray on.  Same thing happened, except now I’m paying attention and within 30 minutes, I realized I couldn’t smell it.  You know when you know something but you don’t want it to be true?  I met up with a friend and asked herd, can you smell my perfume?  She said no, are you wearing any?

I was mad because right at that moment I realized this thing is a counterfeit.  I was fooled.

It passed the Top Notes Check, it passed the middle notes check, but there’s no base note, there’s no dry down, there’s no sillage, there’s no projection, and the longevity is 20 minutes, maximum!  The  real perfume would normally give me 8 hours and lives on my clothes for days. It’s fake.

I know how the genuine perfume performs; therefore, it is in the comparison between the two that I am able to identify the counterfeit.  It is hard for you to tell a counterfeit when you have no idea what the real thing looks like.

The quickest way to spot the counterfeit.

  1. Check the fruit.

John 15:4-5

Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.”I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

So then it’s not just the fruit but the lack of fruit also speaks volumes.

Remember story of Jesus and the fig tree?

Mark 11:12-14

12 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry.13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. 14 Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.

In other words, stop calling yourself a fig tree if when I’m hungry I can’t get ONE fig out of you. You’re a counterfeit.

Now you may say but that is so unfair because it wasn’t even fig season.  Well, that’s why this scripture is so powerful because our Lord is saying when you are in HIM, you are ALWAYS bearing fruit.  You always have fruit in Christ.  Are you hungry?  I got a fig for you.  But it’s not even fig season?!  It doesn’t matter, I’m connected to the vine.  if you want more, I got more.  I NEVER run out!!!!  I supernaturally produce because I’m a fig tree connected to Christ.

Jesus wouldn’t have an expectation like that it if wasn’t possible.

Now you may be thinking, what if I’ve never experienced the real thing before?  How will l know the counterfeit?

2. Read your Bible.

Get it on the inside of you.  Even if you have to listen to it.

What is going to happen is the more you do it, the more you will start to pick up on things that preachers, prophets, church people say and then you can compare it to what you read.  Now, you know the truth.  You don’t even have to know the book, or verse, or the exact scripture where you read it.  That comes later.  You just need to get it on the inside of you.

As soon a you hear something and it is not true, is like an alarm bell will go off inside of you.  I don’t know how else to say it.  A loud bell goes off that says “hmmm, I need to look into this.”  Because something about it doesn’t sound right because you KNOW you read something different. When you go and you check it out, this is when you really start to learn.  Perhaps it’s true but you just never heard it like that before.  Sometimes, it’s not true and then you’ll figure it out.  Sometimes it was just referenced wrong and that’s OK.  People make mistakes but what were the intentions?

Just read the Word. It is the plumb line by which you should measure and test everything and everyone. (Hebrews 4:12)

3.  Time.

I may not have realized at first that the fragrance was a counterfeit because the packaging (externals) fooled me.  And the initial impression.  Man looks at the outside while God is looking at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7).  However, over time it was clear that it was not a genuine product.

Luke 2:2

There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, and nothing hidden that will not be made known.

Some things in life you just need to give it some time.  Don’t be in a rush.  Especially if it is a life changing decision.  Take your time until you are 100% sure.

Not all fragrances have projection, some you have to get closer to them to smell it. They are not as outspoken, you have to know them up close and in person to know who they are. That’s OK they can still be real.  And, it doesn’t mean they are less powerful. You just have to be closer to them to enjoy their goodness.

Others don’t leave a trail/sillage, that’s OK that doesn’t mean they are not real either.

They may fit in a different category or box and it’s OK not to have all those things in the beginning.  Over time, you develop all of this.

I went home and looked at the packaging again and these were my thoughts… If you are this skilled and talented to actually recreate such an elaborate package, and your nose is so good that you can take the notes out of a perfume and recreate it to smell exactly the same, why can’t you create your own product?

The fact that they can counterfeit that good means that these are talented people, they are just using the talent to defraud someone instead of creating something original.

Why can’t they make their own product?  Obviously the skill and talent is there.

It requires originality, hard work, time, trial and error, and creativity to produce a masterpiece fragrance.  The counterfeiter doesn’t want to go through the process, they want the blessing, benefits without putting in the work, so they pretend.

Not all fragrances last long on you.  But, when I buy fragrances this is something that I look for.  If it lacks  longevity I don’t want it.  How much did you pay for it?  If it’s Bath and Body works mist for $20, it can die after 30 minutes and that’s OK. But if you just spent $495 on Creed, that thing better have longevity.  I need to be able to spray that Aventus on Neil Armstrong send him to the moon and have him smell like it when he returns!

When you invest your time, energy, resources and money into the people in your life, you want longevity.  A counterfeit doesn’t have longevity. They can’t go the long haul with you.  They will fall apart at the Base Note.  That means that at the very moment when you need them, they won’t be there for you.  They are good initially but when things get bad they are gone.  Think about your friends. You know some people just “churn and burn” through people.  This is not good.

How to not be a counterfeit

1 – Stop announcing yourself.  You don’t need to tell anyone who you are.  They can figure it out all on their own.

Matthew 7:15-20

15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Be authentically you.  You were fearfully and wonderfully made by the Creator, you are already an original so there is no need for you to ever try to be anyone else. Or sell yourself as something that you are not.  Let them tell you who you are.

In the words of Jesus “Who do you say that I am?”

When they ask you, so what are you looking for in a friend/in a relationship?  Authenticity. Let’s start with that.

2 – Pay attention to how people react to you when you reach the Base Note stage.  Sometimes you can honestly believe you are being genuine but if whenever you get to the base notes in your relationship with others, it goes sour??  Repeatedly. That means who you say you are, and what you are is not matching.  It’s not adding up.

Top notes and middle notes is surface level stuff.  You can read a book and make a good first impression.  You can get a stylist, straighten your teeth, loose some weight and present yourself in such a way that people think you’re likable.  But let me tell you something, when they get to know you…the real you…without the makeup…  not from a distance, not from the stage, not from your resume, not from the pulpit or your Youtube channel, the minute you start to interact, here we go!

If it started out good (top note), then it went ok (middle note) and then after a little while they want you gone or they are running from you (base note).  Check yourself.  It means that what you are presenting and who you really are, is not the same thing.  You turn sour once you start interacting with others.  Once their chemistry, hits your chemistry… Houston, we have a problem.  Time to prune.

Look for the patterns.  Why do you think employers ask about your last jobs?  You need to look for the patterns of behavior.  It was there all you just overlooked it or made an excuse for it because you didn’t want to see that.

Spotting the counterfeit church or ministry

The sillage.

The purpose of the church is to bring people to the Lord, salvation

Help them through their process of healing and deliverance.

Train them up so they can go out and do the same.

Rinse and Repeat.

This is basically what we are supposed to do. And, they have longevity so that the pastor or ministry stays the course until they go home to be with Jesus.  They are consistent.

The sillage is what is left after you’ve encountered a church or that ministry.  How did they leave you?  Saved, healed, delivered, started your own church, started your own ministry, able to help others in your family be free as well?  Closer in your relationship to Jesus Christ, Hallelujah! This is what is should look like.  If this is the sillage that was left, then you found a really good church.

If however the church or ministry is a counterfeit what you will find are dead bodies.  Hurt, wounded people.  Man, church hurt! Wooo.  Church hurt is so bad because they are able to touch a part of you that no one else can.  Your Spirit Man.

Your job is not able to touch your spirit man.  Your relationships are also not able to touch your spirit man.  But when you go into something that Is “spiritual” in nature, and you open up your spirit to them, that means they have the ability to hurt you in a way that no one else can.  They access a part of you that others cannot access. That’s why church hurt is so bad.  When you get wounded by an abusive spiritual/religious leader, the only way you can heal that is if another spiritual leader helps you through the healing process.  That is the only way.  They do this by directing you through reading the word, prayer and getting closer to Jesus.  But if you don’t have anyone to teach you how to do it, you will carry that hurt for a very very very long time.  Most of the witches/warlocks that I’ve met came from out of a church.  Religious people messed them up and then the ones who came to help them are from the dark side.  That’s how a lot of them turned into what they are today.

They have a spiritual gift and they go talk to someone about it but because that person doesn’t understand their gift they tell them it’s demonic.  Then here comes a witch “I’ll teach you how to use that”… off they go.

They get abused by the church, become a witch, go back to the church and cause havoc.

Now, when they come back into the church and start casting the spells and curses and stealing from people in the realm of the spirit,  are you supposed to leave them there?  No.  You can’t do that.  That’s like leaving your pet boa constrictor alone with a one year old at home while you go out for lunch.  Do you think the child is going to be alive when you go back home?  No.  It’s dangerous.  The child doesn’t know it’s snake.  But if the pastor knows about it, then they need to do something about it.

Some of the bodies in the church it’s not even the pastor doing it, it is the people they allow to stay there damaging and destroying other people’s lives.

John 10:10-13

10 The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep. 12 A hired hand will run when he sees a wolf coming. He will abandon the sheep because they don’t belong to him and he isn’t their shepherd. And so the wolf attacks them and scatters the flock. 13 The hired hand runs away because he’s working only for the money and doesn’t really care about the sheep.

Clearly you cannot allow them to stay there because people will get hurt.

Now you may say, well don’t you need to show the witches love too?  Yes, of course!  By not exposing them publicly and treating them terribly in front of other people.  Pull them to the side, speaking in love towards them and sharing Christ, privately, away from the congregation.

But I wouldn’t let them stay in the church without repenting and turning from that.  You can counsel them one on one. Do It privately and let them know they can’t come back there because the pastor’s job is to take care of the flock.  And the congregation is not a spiritual social experiment.

1 Corinthians 13:7

“Love Protects”

We are to be loving but we also need to use wisdom. There are churches that go through it once and they learn their lesson and it never happens again.  But others they just allow the people to leave hurt instead of examining why it keeps happening. Until there’s a long line of people who left and they all have the same story.

Walking into a church …(sniff sniff) what’s that smell? Formaldehyde.

You came in looking for a church (the hospital Psalm 147:3) instead you got a war zone with dead bodies!  What they told you they were, is not who they are.

Time to reformulate this fragrance. It needs to change.

One person leaving you, is to be expected.  Two, maybe?  Three, four, five, six, seven.  At some point you have to stop blaming other people and look within.

Dead Church

Sometimes the sillage is not that people got hurt but that you have a church full of “spiritually dead people”.  They are going nowhere.  “Come Lord Jesus come.  I wanna go home”.  Ok, I understand but you know it says we need to occupy until He comes, so what’s up?

They’ve lost the passion to serve the Lord.

Revelation 3

“And to the [a]angel of the church in Sardis write,

‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before [b]God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.

We have work to do.

Mislabeling something as Counterfeit when it’s not

We have to be careful not to label everything as counterfeit when the truth is that it could just be someone that is still going through their process.  In some arena YOU may be someone else’s counterfeit. You just didn’t work out for them.

You are not for them, they are not for you.  There’s nothing wrong with that.  You just need to find your “tribe” as they say.

Some people you met them at a season in their life when they’re not their best and you need to just extend a little grace and see what happens as time goes on.  Is there a pattern of behavior?

They could have a personality you don’t like.  Character flaws that God’s still pruning.  But, that doesn’t mean that they are a counterfeit…again, that would be a person pretending to be someone or something that they are not just to defraud you.  Their motives are not pure for wanting to be close to you.  They have an agenda and it’s not Jesus.

Quick story.  I had a really good friend, we were friends for about 4 years at the time, and we went on vacation to Germany one summer with another friend.

I once heard it said that you don’t really know someone until you travel with them. It’s true.

We decided that as a part of our trip we wanted to visit the vineyards in the Rhine Valley and stay at one of the medieval castles.  We found one that I think was 1,000 years old.  It was old. The trip was going perfect until we got to the castle.  We were only there for 2 nights while we explored the area.  Well, it started when she found out there were no telephones in the room, we have to use the telephone in the office downstairs and the office was closed at a certain time every evening, then when she realized that we had to climb the stairs to get to our room because there are no elevators, add to that there’s no one to help us with the bags so we have to drag them up the stairs ourselves.  I think she broke a fingernail.  Then she found out there’s no food after a certain hour.  Then we found out that the beds had more lumps than my grandmother’s cornmeal porridge.

What else did you expect form a 1,000 year old castle?

Hey, for me it was only 2 nights!  And to be able to stay in a place with all that history  was an experience.  For her, this was hell.  Later, she told me that she thought they would have put in more modern touches to make the guests more comfortable.  They didn’t.

She moaned and complained and grumbled.  So badly that she ruined the rest of the trip for us.  She couldn’t find one good thing to say.  Then the most embarrassing part was her asking to use the phone in the office so she can sit there for 30 minutes complaining to her husband in front of the office staff.

So, was she a counterfeit?  No.  She is as real as they come.  She’s like that warm weather fragrance that you love and it works while you’re at home, which is 99% of the time. However, when you grab it to go on vacation in the cold weather, you can’t smell a thing!  If you were to buy that fragrance during the winter as a blind buy, you would think it was terrible and not worth the money, when it’s just not in the right weather/environment for that fragrance.

This was the first and only time I had ever seen her act like this in all the years that I’ve known her and we remained friends after this experience.  That makes it different from someone who has a consistent pattern of behavior.

Try not to mislabel something.  Examine it.  Discern. So you can determine how to move forward from that.

You need to know where the boundary lines are with the people in your life, friendships, business partners etc.

Now that I know she is like this, would I go on vacation with her again?  Watch this video

LOL

Believe me, the feeling is mutual!  If you were to ask her, she would say “is it a Ritz Carlton?  Is it a Marriott?”  No?  Hell naw to the no no no! LOL

You know that one friend that at first you couldn’t stand them, and then later you got to know them and they became one of your best friends?  And you realize that every single person that has met this one person has the same first impression about them? It was a top note issue but once you get into the base notes, they are the most loyal friend.

Top Notes…Prickly Pear!

They have to warm up to you.  Is this the person you are going to put on your welcoming committee of your new church?? No!  Very bad first impression!

You just need to know where people fit and put them where they will shine best.

A person who is a Counterfeit

When a person is a true counterfeit they put on an act to get something out of you that they want.  They pretend and imitate whatever actions or words they believe is necessary to get you to give them what they are after.

If they were to come right out and say what they want, you would say NO.

Hence, the Academy Award winning performance.

They sat around, contemplated what they want from you, realized that if they just came right out and said what they want, you would say NO.  So they went ahead and formulated a plan of how to get you to say YES.

It is fraud.

Discern it.  As soon as you pick up that this person is being disingenuous, back up.  When you figure out what it is they are after, don’t give it to them.

Even if they did it once to you and got away with it, maybe even twice, eventually you are going to figure it out.  Then you need to move away from that individual because you can’t trust them.

Will the real person please stand up.  You have no idea who they really are.

Counterfeiters are master gaslighters.  Narcissistic.  Manipulative.  Controlling.  Serpent-like. A Jezebelian spirit.

The minute you discern it.  Move away from them.

Do you want something?  Ask for what you want.  And, prepare to hear NO.  Now you can move on, the person can move on and you can find another way to get what you want.

But whatever it is that you are doing to get what you want in life just be honest with people.

Why do people lie on their resume about a degree they don’t have?  To get the job.  They are trying to defraud the company to give them a job they don’t qualify for by pretending to have something that they don’t have.  And then what happens after they get the job and the HR department finds out?  They get fired.

Because nobody likes a counterfeit – not in a business or a church, or a friendship, not in a marriage.

The greatest revealer of a Counterfeit

Time.

Most things will show itself over time. It it’s real, it has longevity. That fake gold chain just need to rub against your skin for a little bit of time to show itself.

Time.

Don’t be in a rush.

Sometimes it’s a personality issue, sometimes it’s a character flaw, sometimes it’s a counterfeit with motives and intentions that are not for your good.

Give it time.  You will be very clear in the end where they fit.

Blessings

  1. In closing , the prophet in my life is the real deal enabling me to transition from one season to the next , the scrioture by a prophet they came out of Egypt , as noted king David had seers , I don’t claim any credit for my growth an advancement I credit the prophet who has guided me each season an 100% accurate an real deal , I know we not suppose to pay for prophetic word , I give my tithes to his ministry because he the one who has guided me step by step , an handling very delicate issues in my psychological make up , things never told to anyone , he is a true seer , not everyone has a prophet that’s ok, I just happen to have one , if you knew where I was when he first started ministering in my life an how far I’ve come you’d understand , it’s hard now a days because countless ministrys all want a donation an I’m not in position to give to everyone , so I had to decide to eliminate many people because it’s not feasible to give to countless ministrys , it was by a prophet the children of Israel came out of Egypt ( Hosea ) the prophetic pulls you to next dimension an your continually growing

  2. I’ve had Elijah’s mantle come to my life an to this day I still can’t figure out exactly what Jezebel spirit is, they say it’s about control issues , have an older sister that left me high an dry since being a Christian an God giving me my authority , she lives in high class area on vineyard area by wineries , it’s painful that someone can just desert you cause they can no longer control you , I love my sisters I’m the youngest an both sisters jealous behavior even while I’m on chemo battling breast cancer , they could care less if I live or die I suppose , but my calling an pleasing God takes priority over hurt feelings , some family may never come around in your lifetime , but God is blessing you by protecting you an shielding you from abusive behavior an that is what a loving father does , everyone was fine with me being torn up an a fool they visited for hours all day but they stay far away since having my authority in chrisT, it’s painful for sure especially realizing they never ever were truly there , they visited an used every distraction possible just to not have to open up an be real , I feel like Caspar the ghost ha ha real prophets are lonely people

  3. Hi Nicole. I was listening to a sermon yesterday and the pastor mentioned the withered fig tree not bearing any fruit. A few of them got together, decided to phone the Israeli “government” and enquired about fig trees. Apparently the fig trees in Israel first bears fruit then the leaf but this one had the leaves and no fruit. xoxo Much love

    1. I’m reminded of when Jesus teaching Peter to fish When we throw our net out all kinds of things get in that net ! Personally I’ve been had to be a loner for years not by choice ( many real prophets were , Elijah Jeremiah , my experience many church’s just playing church , time is the most valuable commodity we own an we don’t own time , I can’t waste time on ministrys that aren’t feeding me, missionaries of prayer is a blessed honest ministry , I admire an respect this ministry , , tho I don’t understand all these conferences etc, to me people chasing the latest but the basic biblical truths are a sure foundation , I personally have a prophet I’ve had for over 8 yrs , king David had a seerer , the prophet helps me from point a to b, I wish I could still donate more but just don’t have it but I still love missionaries of prayer.org she a beautiful lady in a class of her own an not many will understand or able to tap in as she does , such as the various dimensions etc, I need to incorporate more fasting again , an just because society is moving lightening fast , Jesus was never in a hurry , we still need to stop have compassion , listen to hurting people an help even tho we advancing but advancing doesn’t mean we lose the ability to love people an help

  4. Wow. This prophetic blog hit hard this time. Not for me, I am my authentic self. Probably too much as God is teaching me to be better about boundaries this year. This after I opened myself up more because everybody said I needed to after my wife passed away in 2021. Hmmm, I was definitely lacking discernment there. Also, this year I have been inundated with counterfeit people. I was romantically scammed twice, and have over twenty other people trying to get close to me to scam me.

The plus side is I now recognize many counterfeit signs so I do not engage with them at the same level anymore. Also, I part ways with them but always leave them with a blessing and have experienced how being authentic and asking for what I want has allowed us to walk away from each other with no ill will. God truly is amazing.

What really hit hard his how the gaslighting, maniupulative behavior I’ve been experiencing is from a jezebel spirit. I have had many encounters with this type of spirit over the years and God has seen me through them all. Now that I feel that I am poised to move into the higher level God wants me to, I am a in a new place, leaving my old work, found an exciting new church that has the potential to launch me into the area I feel called to, I realize these are purposeful attacks to derail me off of God’s path. However, praise God, I am not taking the bait anymore and have learned many of the tactics that are used that will aid me wherever God sends me.

    1. Hi James, yes Jezebel is a counterfeit spirit. If you read 1 Kings 21, you will see that when they couldn’t get Naboth’s vineyard by just asking for it, she sent a letter in her husband’s name and put his seal on it. So she was pretending to be her husband to the people who were in charge. Then she pretended that this was some kind of religious/spiritual good by calling a fast meanwhile the intention was to murder an innocent man. Then she gave a command to set up Naboth in front of the people. So when the people thought that Naboth was a bad guy they stoned him. Bottom line is, she wanted a vineyard and so she counterfeited, controlled and manipulated her way into getting it….at any cost, even to the death of another human being. When those people stoned Naboth, they had no idea this man had done nothing wrong because she pulled others into her counterfeiting plan and they fell for it. The leaders thought her husband commanded it, but he didn’t.

They show up more when we are in a transition so you have to be on guard when you know you are in that season. As you said, their goal is to derail the will of God and get you off His purpose and destiny for your life. It’s a learning experience and all of us have to encounter it at least once to learn from it. Today the murder will look like false accusation. Fantastical made up stories about someone and none of it is true. We have to just forgive them and move on. Blessings
