Prophetic Word – Butterflies

prophetic word passover

This prophetic word is based on a couple visions that I had one the first week of March and then the second at the end of March 2020.  This was at the beginning of the Coronavirus Pandemic when more states were just joining in with New York for a stay at home order.  The world was also ramping up on lock downs.

Even though things were getting more intense, when I woke up that particular morning the first week in March I was very happy.  I felt so good in my spirit about everything.  No, I’m not some villain that wants to see people suffer.  In fact this is exactly how the prophetic works.  You perceive something before everyone else does.  You can see the end of a thing while it is still in the beginning stages.

For the entire day I had such joy.  I knew everything was going to be OK.  I asked the Lord, what is it that’s coming that’s bringing this joy?

Then I got this vision of the tops of trees blooming flowers and butterflies.  Not many butterflies, just a few here and there.  But they made me smile.  Who doesn’t like butterflies?  What beautiful creatures they are.

There are no verses in the bible about butterflies so we have to look at the actual creature themselves to discern what it means.

spiritual transformationThey go through changes from the eggs to the caterpillar to the chrysalis to the butterfly.  The amazing thing is that they don’t look anything alike as it goes from one phase to the next.

It is completely different.

The transformation is so drastic that you can’t believe this is the same creature if you didn’t actually see it do the transformation.  To go from crawling to stillness to flying.  Can you imagine?  It grew wings and flew!  Many people say they wish they could fly.  Such liberty and beauty! From crawling to flying!  Wow! What a transformation.

Romans 12:2 New King James Version (NKJV)

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

The bible does talk about transformation which comes from the Greek work metamorphoo (Strongs 3339), which means to have a physical change.  A visual transformation.  That means people can actually see it.  Like a butterfly.

So when the bible tells us the renew our minds by reading the word of God, people should actually see it if we did it.

Do you know how to get rid of fear?  Renewing your mind by meditating on the Scriptures

Do you know how to get rid of emotional wounds?  PTSD?  Renewing your mind by meditating on the Scriptures

Do you know how to transform your life?  Renewing your mind by meditating on the Scriptures

Do you know how to find the perfect will of God for your life? Renewing your mind by meditating on the Scriptures

Most of what you find out on the internet for meditation is actually new age philosophies and teachings, not Christian. They teach you to empty your mind but the biblical way is the exact opposite…fill your mind.  Would you like to learn how to meditate on scriptures? Please let us know in the comments below. Most churches don’t teach people how to do this.  They preach on it but there is no “How To”.  We NEED this right now.  This is how you rid yourself of fear and trauma, and emotional abuse and PTSD.  There is no other way but meditating on scripture.  I am willing to teach you how to do it for free. If you are not on our mailing list you need to sign up so and we’ll let you know when we have the classes.

Gene Kelly – Singing in the Rain Source: Encyclopedia Britannica

Back to the butterflies…

So the joy I was feeling in my spirit was for the transformation of the church of Jesus Christ.  This new church that is going to emerge at the end of this time.

You know, the church where the world can actually see the transformation.  My goodness!!

We emerge from our spiritual chrysalis different.  We go in as a caterpillar, we die to ourselves and then we come out as a butterfly.

So the joy only lasted for that one day as everyone was running around in fear there I was smiling and feeling like Gene Kelly in a musical!  Singing in the rain.

Because I knew at the end of this, those who submit themselves to what the Lord will speak to them in this season will come out really well.

So a few weeks past and I get another vision.  This time there are many, many, many butterflies.  All different sizes and colors.  They were everywhere!

My goodness I was so happy to see that because it signified to me that more and more of us were coming out of our chrysalis transformed!  That the longer we stay in this place where God has us now and we seek after Him on how He wants to change us that we are going to emerge strong, transformed, resilient and ready to do what He would have us do in the world.  The old (caterpillar) has to die and get resurrected into the new. Now we would be ready to fly!

The truth is, this is the future.  Your future!

So here’s how you get there…

1.  There is a process involved.  You can’t actually force the pupa/chrysalis open on a butterfly without killing it.  It literally dies to itself as a caterpillar before it can emerge as the butterfly. How long does it take? The time inside the chrysalis is 5 – 21 days. Sometimes it could take a year.  It totally makes sense then that the first vision there were a few butterflies but with the 2nd vision there were many. 21 days later.  What determines the length of time? The climate on the outside. Hmmm.  What are you surrounding yourself with? Will you submit yourself to the process of what God is trying to kill within you or are you going to resist it?

2 Corinthians 5:17  (NKJV) “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

Take your time.  Don’t force the process.  There is no going back to “normal”.  That would be like the caterpillar going into the chrysalis and coming out as the caterpillar.  That season has ended.  Normal no longer exists.  What God is doing now is showing you how He wants you to be when you emerge.  He’s actually transforming you to be a part of this new church.  That’s what’s happening.  Some of you are going to need more time that others to adjust.

It’s your own personal death and resurrection.

2. Meditate on Scripture.  This is how you successfully move through your transformation process.  If you’re not in the word,

then you are going to be staying in the chrysalis longer than you would like.  Reading the word and meditating on the word is not the same thing.

Joshua 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

and for the final most important point…

3. Give your whole heart to Jesus.

I know most of you reading this are Christians.  Just because you are a Christian doesn’t mean you gave your heart to Jesus.

When you become a Christian you enter into a covenant relationship with God the Father through Jesus, the Son.  You are then given the Holy Spirit to guide, transform and direct you to stay on track.  The problem is many of us entered the covenant with God without giving our whole heart to Him. Or we started out intending to do that and then slowly took back parts of it.

The same with the marriage covenant between a husband and wife.  There are many marriages where one person never actually gave their heart to the other.  They were too afraid to get hurt or their heart actually belongs to someone else.  It is painful for the spouse who doesn’t have the other person’s heart. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about.

So you can actually be in a a covenant and not give your heart to the person.

So imagine God as He watches you coming to Him in prayer …  God I want this…God I want that…God bless me…God bless my family…God bless my marriage…God I need a financial blessing…God heal me…God grow my ministry…on and on.   And you know what?  He does it because He loves you!  He does it because you have a covenant with Him.  He does it because He gave you His heart.  But the question is, does God have your heart?  Not the portion of your heart marked “spirituality/religion”, no all of it. Not the portion marked “Sunday”, all of it.

How different would our lives look if God had our hearts? What kind of parent would you be?  What would your marriage look like?  What kind of employee would you be?

How would your ministry look if Jesus had your whole heart?

Please just stop and think about this for a minute

If God had my whole heart how would my life look?

That’s how you become transformed.  That’s how you emerge looking different.  This transformation is not in words because it’s internal and it only happens after you make the decision to give Him your whole heart.  Then inside of your “spiritual chrysalis” you start to transform. The one thing God didn’t do with His sovereignty is make us love Him.  If He did, the whole world would be saved and in love with Jesus.  You can’t make someone love you. Instead, Love (the Person/God) gives us a choice.

What will you choose?

Here’s a prayer for you (read it first and please only pray aloud when you are sure that you are 100% ready to do this)

Lord God, I just realized that I never gave you my whole heart.  I gave you a part of it and chose to do what I wanted to do with the rest.  Please forgive me for not trusting You completely. Forgive me for treating You like a mere man instead of who You truly are.  The One who made my heart.  The One who truly knows me.  The One who knows exactly what I need.  The only One who I can trust to take care of my heart.  I ask You to heal every part of my heart that is broken and wounded.  I give You my heart.  My whole heart and I ask You to transform me from the inside out.  I’m holding nothing back this time. Walk me through my process Holy Spirit. I commit myself to reading and meditating on Your word daily and I know You will let me know when I am ready to emerge from my chrysalis, equipped with wings and liberty to fly, in Jesus name, Amen

2 Corinthians 3:17-18 New King James Version (NKJV)

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

Blessings and Happy Easter!
