This is a one week fast for 2024. The fast begins 5 Days after you sign up.
Here’s how this will work.
- When you sign up you will receive a welcome email, please check your spam folder to be sure you receive all the emails.
- The Fast begins 5 Days after you sign up. This will give you the time you need to gather the items for the fast.
- During the fast, every day you will receive the email for that day which will have a prayer focus and scripture meditation.
- Each day will be different, and the prayer and scriptures need to be done in the order you receive them for greater results. We also give you the opportunity to submit your dreams on the dreams forum for interpretation. God speaks to us so much through dreams and there are times when we need help knowing exactly what He is saying.
- By the end of the fast you should notice:
- Clarity
- A sense of freedom and peace in your mind, body, spirit and soul. It is a complete detox.
- Direction on how to move forward in 2024, not from us but from God since the whole purpose of the fast is to get you more focused on Him.
- And the best past, answered prayers! You will learn some prayer strategies on how to get answers and this will result in massive breakthroughs to your prayers.
- Cost: Being willing and obedient to follow what the Lord will reveal to you during this process. Showing up every day to do the exercise and read the Bible verses. Shutting off the social media, TV and any other outlets that will bring the evening news, fear or distraction into your atmosphere. This one week break from the media will allow you to hear clearly. Other than that, it’s free.

A few things to have on hand to start the fast:
- Your bible (physical & digital copy, if you have it)
- Notebook & pen for journaling
- An audio recording device (most phones have one just be sure you know how to use it)
- Anointing oil
- Communion elements We take communion every day during the fast. The type of fast recommended:
Most people do a Daniel Fast reference Daniel 1:12. You can find more information about this type if fast by clicking here. If you more experienced at doing a Daniel Fast, perhaps consider doing a juice fast.
Please do what is best for you and your health, consult your doctor. If you know you cannot do this, then do your best.

- Television
- Radio
- News/Media
Unless you must, please consider shutting it all down for the week.

Thank you for being obedient to God for this fast, this is my 2nd time of joining in this fast, the effect in my life and family can not be quantfy, and by the grace of God i have been able to invite other people whose lives have also been greatly affected for good.
I am expectant of great beginnings as a result of this seven days, i feel full, refreshed and renewed in my mind, soul and spirit.

This is the first year I have joined a fast with MOP. I have noticed that the Lord will give me many words or scriptures, and the following week or so, MOP will have a post about it. So I felt very connected. While I have done some other great fasts, this is the first one I did with my husband! We read the Bible and prayed with one another and it’s been beautiful for our whole family. Thank you MOP for your obedience and commitment.

I thank God for you MOP and everyone who participated in this prayer and fast, because not only did I get beautiful time to communicate with God(with less time for gadgets, news, social medias and other distractions), I was able to hear God speaking to me through dreams and visions. I had two dreams in the same night that were so clear and it was something I have been praying to God for months now but could not hear what plans he had for it. I had a vision that took me right back on battle mode knowing my Victory is in Jesus, and by Friday I got a positive result through a dream! And some other two clarities through dreams. This fasting week I have had four dreams and one vision and I cannot end praising God for how he has shown up for me during this fast.
Needless to say, I feel rejuvenated with this fast, I have seen God’s revelations and his beautiful plans for me, I am on check spiritually (which I have been improving from following up the word of God MOP posts every week/ month in this website for a year now).
In short, this fasting week had been of revelations, understanding and building a relationship with God!
I am definitely going on with praying against generational curses, soul ties etc. and I believe I will give feedback before March. Praise Jesus!
I have fasted quite a number of times over the years and some corporate fasts but never had there been such detailed instructions and resources in the fasts (such as MOP has provided).
I was so blessed by this fast. It gave me more insight also. I normally don’t like fasting at All but this is the first time in decades that the fast was enjoyable because of all the materials and Wisdom you provided etc.
Also the worship is the type of worship I listen to and some of it I knew already…just beautiful.

I was so looking forward to start the fast. It was indeed the most wonderful and precious way to start 2021. The entire fast was just emphasized by the fact that we do not have to fear anything, no matter what is happening in the world around is. Trusting God with everything, no matter what we see – He has already provided an answer/outcome even though we might not see the answer yet. That God is our Fortress, Provider, Protector and our tender Loving Father. This was again an experience that emphasized that we have to keep our focus on our Lord, his word and promises. It was also the best time for me to repent and shake of any fear that has taken up a part in my heart without being consciously aware of the fact that there is fear in me. Thank you for being so obedient to our Father. I look forward to each email I receive from MOP. Each email forms an important part of my walk with God. It also warms my heart to know that I am walking this path with His children around the world.
I have been on a number of fasts over the yrs. Some were corporate but I have never had so much detail in the fast with all the tools…and resources and wisdom MOP gave for us for each day. I gained alot from each day and it actually made the fast more enjoyable (since I really never liked fasting).
This was very structured but in a pleasant way. And the material and worship (which is my type of worship and (i knew some of the artists and songs already) was so helpful. I greatly appreciate your ministry even more so now. May God richly bless you and your ministry.

Thank you so very much for who you are in the Lord! I have been blessed tremendously this week. I stayed up each evening past midnight because I was excited to find out what the next area of focus would be. Even though I serve in a ministry full time and rise early each morning- it was worth it to experience such joy and expectation before going to sleep. I am forever grateful for this ministry. Wow! What an encounter! This is my second year fasting with MOP and both times, I’ve appreciate it in ways that my vocabulary limits me from expressing. The experience is so intimate, so personal, so practical and strategically set up so that the participant is completely transformed by the end of it.
I’ve participated in other church fasts over the years and although they’ve been labeled as “corporate”, I’ve never received the level of detail and unity that I have when I participate in these. I’ve seen so much growth in myself since I initially found this ministry and I’m grateful to keep learning here.

This was my first time to join this fast and I must say that it challenged me a lot in the area of prayer and repentance. I realized that there are mindsets too that I am so used to that needs to be repented of because it wasn’t helping my walk with Jesus at all. The JOY principle on the other hand improves my prayer time. The more I pray using this method, the more I understand what Jesus meant when He said, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you”. My prayer focus and priority shifts from “me” and yet I become even more confident that He will supply my personal needs according to His will and purposes.
I am thankful I signed-up to the Jan 2021 fast. It really was a resetting fast for me! Thank you MOP for your dedication to the ministry.
What can I say… My God what a MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE! This has been an amazing 7 days, glory be to God! I feel so free especially after yesterday’s deliverance. I had done the housing cleansing with MOP a couple of weeks ago while fasting for 7 days that is what first lead me to this website. After the Generational Curses prayer I feel as if tons of weights have been lifted off of my shoulders. I thank God for you all at MOP and for leading me to this ministry. This was my first time joining MOP fast and I love it. I struggle with being disciplined but this was very structured and easy to follow without feeling overwhelmed. I truly enjoyed it and look forward to continue to follow MOP. I’m believing God to answer prayers this year.
Wow! Thank you Missionary of Prayers for obeying God. This is not easy but you have done it. I pray for your protection and continued revelation. It was so nice to go through the seven days and really you took us out to inside the Holy of Holies. May the Lord richly bless you. My life has changed. Breaking the curses the revelation was good. Indeed lack of knowledge and understanding is destroying us children of God. You know am always over joyed every time there is an e mail from MOP whether it’s time for fasting or not.
