Bible Verses About Life

BIBLE VERSES ABOUT LIFE

The Following are bible verses about life.

First we will start at what the bible says about your life before you were born.  Consider these verses as you think about abortion and what God would say about the importance and how he views a fetus:

(Jeremiah 1:5) “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;”

(Psalm 139:13-16 NIV) “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

Psalm 22:9-10 New King James Version (NKJV) “But You are He who took Me out of the womb; You made Me trust while on My mother’s breasts. I was cast upon You from birth. From My mother’s womb You have been My God.”

(Psalm 119:73 NKJV) “Your hands have made me and fashioned me; Give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments.”

(Ecclesiastes 11:5 NKJV) “As you do not know what is the way of the wind, Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, So you do not know the works of God who makes everything.”

Here’s what the bible says about life and aging:

Isaiah 46:4 English Standard Version (ESV) “even to your old age I am he, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save.”

(Titus 2:1-5 ESV) “But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine. Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness. Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.”

(Deuteronomy 5:33 King James Version KJV) “Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.”

(Proverbs 3:1-2 KJV) “My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.”

(Psalm 91:16 KJV) “With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.”

(Psalm 90:10 KJV) “The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.”

What the bible says about Eternal Life in Christ Jesus:

1 Corinthians 15:54-57 New Living Translation (NLT) “Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

(2 Corinthians 5:8 NLT) “Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord.”

(Psalm 23:6 NLT) “Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.”

(John 14:1-3 NLT) “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.”

(John 11:21-26 NLT) “Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if only you had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that God will give you whatever you ask.” Jesus told her, “Your brother will rise again.” “Yes,” Martha said, “he will rise when everyone else rises, at the last day.” Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life.[a] Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die.”
